Born and bread in Great Britain , ( Newcastle ) ...
until she was kidnapped by a frog-eater in 1968 ! (But he'd been preparing
this since 1963 ... )
She likes : - her
JOB :
- teaching
computing students
- organising teacher training sessions
all over the region, and even as far as Corsica or Senegal !
- organising : organising student
trips and franco-british meetings. In 1998, in the "Dialogue 2000"
project, a whole 5th year class and the teachers will spend a month at
Birkenhead School (near Liverpool). Then, at Easter, the English will come
for a month to Provence.
- cooking : She's always trying
out new recepies, provencal recepies made by an English are sometimes sumptuous
! The biggest Chefs should beware !
- gardening : she can get English
flowers grow near the Alpilles, despite Canelle,
our adorable Labrador, who destroys everything !
- Provence, (
visit Micheline and Jacques's wonderful site ; you'll
know more about Provence than the locals !)with
its colours, its folklore, its light, contrasting so highly with the climate
of England, where, despite what gossipers say, it isn't always foggy ,
only when it isn't raining !
- she is very proud of her brother Ian, who
has been given a MBE ( Member of the British Empire ) by the Queen
Elisabeth II ( see photos)
